The Prelude

Ever since I was a little girl, I enjoyed all things “art”. In High School, I was eager to try it all; painting, drawing, piano, weaving, pottery, singing, woodwork, jewelry making, design - all seemed to have endless possibilities. I saw creativity on display everywhere, and it brought me such joy. My Big Dream was to someday master at least one of those skills and BE a great artist.

The Storyline

It’s been more than 40 years since those Big Dreams were formed. I’ve enjoyed a blessed life as a wife, mother, and grandmother of nine. Hubby and I have served God in many ways, in the local church as staff and Senior Pastors, traveling the country as drama directors, working with a compassion ministry and have met so many wonderful people. Christ has always been first in our lives, and it has been our privilege to use our abilities for His Kingdom.

A New Beginning

In 1978, I made an obedient prayer before God that laid my art endeavors aside to focus on our family and ministry, with a request that He would someday allow me to receive them back again. A few years ago, He spoke, “It was time!” So now I begin again. This time my only teacher is my Heavenly Father. I’m learning more everyday; it’s a new journey. My Big Dream is back and my JOY is full!
